Chabad of Valley Stream Recognizes Albert A. D’Agostino & Dominick Minerva

Chabad of Valley Stream will be celebrating their 24th Anniversary and will recognize Albert A. D’Agostino with the Leadership Award and Dominick Minerva with the Public Service Award at their annual fundraiser dinner on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

The event will be held at Temple Beth Sholom in Roslyn Heights, a highly recognized Long Island temple dating back to 1951. One of the Temple’s proudest achievements began in 1968 when a committee was appointed to establish the Judaica Museum. At the same time, their first Israel Affairs committee was formed. In the 70’s, the Temple’s congregation began to be known for their activist membership and began vigils at the Soviet compound in Glen Cove.

Through their dedicated community, Rabbis, Cantors, Directors and Presidents, Temple Beth Sholom continues to be a house for prayer, a house of learning, and a house of their community. Through their services, programs, and activities they are able to create sacred communal Jewish moments for their congregation. Temple Beth Sholom is proud to host this annual event and honor two of Long Island’s esteemed attorneys. Tickets can be purchased at Temple Beth Shalom and are $225 per person and include a dinner buffet.
